The sun bleeds through the trees like film played on fire. Filtered through the wreckage is an autumn poem written in damage and leaves.

Love is in the air, pheromones played and rewound. Relations are tape loops, waves layered to create harmony over undertones, played until the tape burns away.

This is the soundtrack to my life.

We weather uncertainty for no-one knows how long, but not caring. As fire consumes the last of the tape, we refuse to see anything but each other's eyes. As the trees bleed, all I can see as the light grows brighter is green, but I can't tell if it's a negative of the fire or proof-positive of our love.

I can only hope.


the color of my guitar is my favorite color. the colors of my highs are orange and blue. i'm a little bit random. i play guitar and piano and bass and percussion, all badly. i also sing, questionably. i spend most of my time sleeping and obsessing about men and writing music and using far too little punctuation. i'm perpetually on aim and i feel totally out of the loop when my cell phone dies. i'm sick of drama. i find patterns in everything but i hate math. i'm struggling in my classes. i hate my major but hate all the others more. i've been making my own language for six years but can barely speak it. it's called kanareki. i've done martial arts for ten years and i like to think i can kick peoples' asses. i've been hit by a car. i get sleep paralysis a lot. i like to fall asleep to music. i'm superstitious. i'm post-vegetarian. i'm post-christian. i'm a freethinker. i'm trying to start a band. i like to take a hacker mindset to everything, to mixed results.
